It is ideal for many different situations. These include annual activity planning, capacity planning, business cases, re-configuration or transformation schemes, policy and target setting and list management. It works equally well for a single service, a hospital, a region, or even a whole country.
The scenario functionality enables the user to examine and evaluate any number of different futures. Scenarios for different factors (like, say, demand growth or capacity changes) can be combined to reflect as accurately as possible what might happen in the future. The results can be compared side by side.
The model uses standard datasets which are loaded into the model automatically.
